Everytime I choose a book to read, I have got two criteria to consider: the title and the description or the author’s note, if available. The title is appealing, one can look at it from different angles, but it suggests the passion of the sea, life’s up’s and down’s, that each of us tries to balance or rather, find a balance. The description was also nice, it’s always nice to read about a straight woman fall for another woman who knows exactly what her sexuality is: a lesbian in acts and facts. And, a romance is always a romance. Yet, this is not the typical lesbian romance: it has drama, strange decisions and awkward relationships, the reader can guess the development of the plot, but it is never certain of it. The book starts with a rather confused woman with suicidal thoughts standing on the shore and starting to go towards the sea and get over with the guilt, the horrors and her life. I believe this part is very well written and transpose the reader in the skin ...

Snapshots 2018 lesbian movie ~ Three Women. Three Generations. Three lives will be forever changed It is based on a true story. It all begins with a simple film role. When a grandmother’s secret past collides with her granddaughter’s secret future and her daughter’s angry present, can the love of three generations be enough to accept decades of deceit The tagline for the movie “Snapshots” is “Three Women. Three Generations. Three lives will be forever changed”. And yes, that is what the overall movie is about: three generations of women confronting, over the course of one weekend, the fallout of infidelity in marriage and pregnancy. However, the strength of the movie is not—unexpectedly—in using these two thematic threads to weave their destinies together and unite them as family, but rather the potential that lies in the main storyline: the romantic relationship between inexperienced, small town girl Rose and free-spirited, artistic Louise. The following revi...

„ S, This book is dedicated to the only woman I ever loved. I’m sorry that I couldn’t be your real-life hero, but hopefully, through my story, you will see everything I wanted to be for you and more. J ” „Sierra had calmed a part of her soul, and she’d never be the same, no matter what happened” „Details would require explaining about Sierra’s lips. God, could her lips have been any more sensuous? Then there was Sierra’s scent—red wine with a hint of vanilla and cherry blossoms. “Don’t you get it? She’s special. Always has been, always will be. She has no idea about my past. What do you think is going to happen when I tell her about the accident? About rehab. About  everything. ” Jaime used to be an introvert surf lover in high-school, she was always suspected a lesbian and always because she was by Sierra’s side, whom she adored since then, yet after one kiss Jaime couldn’t hold it to herself anymore changed their friendship and they were separated because of Sierra’s fear running awa...

Poveste militara/Military story
