Inkmarks On Empty Dreams

"Killing Eve" is a great TV show because it's different and refreshing. Imagine Bond, only if he was the bad guy, a she, and a total sociopath/psychopath. Our intrepid hero, also a she, an older Asian woman to boot (something one NEVER sees on TV) on a worldwide hunt/chase for this evil Bond using only her wits and no weapons, special gadgets, or any of the usual tropes one sees in these sorts of shows/movies. Throw in British style black/deadpan humor/snark, and you pretty much have a winner. One of the best new shows on TV this season.   Written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the adaptions of the novellas by Luke Jennings follows the cat-and-mouse chase by MI5 security officer Eve (Sandra Oh) for the international assassin, who goes by the codename Villanelle (Jodie Comer). What surprises and delights here is that the old trope of cat and mouse, Spy v Spy is given a 360 degree turn and works so well that Killing Eve becomes your new obsession ! Thelma ( Eili Harboe ) moves to Oslo as a young Norwegian student and she starts falling in love with her beautiful colleague Anja ( Okay Kaya ) when she discovers her strange supernatural powers and the sensations that provokes them and their relation with nature. If it lies in her childhood, why did they come to surface only now or how will Thelma control them and how her love for Anja will get through everything? I am guessing we will find out on September 15 th, 2017 when the movie will be released on Norway. A fantastic horror-thriller with glimpses of a lesbian romance. „Reasonable doubt”  is an awesome romance thriller with twists and turns and two marvelous characters. As the author, Carsen Tate, has already made me love criminal law and all the world involved in it, this novel makes no exceptions. It is the story of Ellery and Sarah, caught in the middle of their life changing jobs and searching for a new life, concetrated on their passions turned into work and especially for a private life that they’ve didn’t payed so much attention  all this time. You notice I talk of them together from the start, because that was the way I saw them from the begining of the story. Sarah Flores is a FBI Behavioral Analyst that is haunted by awful dreams generated by the daily crime scenes she has to face and need a change of job, place and heart. She moves to Dallas and enters a fraud unit and although she believes it will be dull, she’s enchanted by a 9 to 5 daylight job and to spare her freetime in the search of the love of her life. „Sarah watched the door close...
