It’s been a long time since I read a book written by Karin Kallmaker (last one was “Love by the numbers” which also, was a beautiful read), I have almost forgotten how her writing “feels” like and how the characters she creates come to live and amaze souls in a different way than any other writer does. When you start reading, you get distracted by the characters and especially by Rayann’s despair after her break-up with her girlfriend, Michelle, whom has cheated on her and Rayann found out that they were having sex in her bed and her sheets, yet she reminds herself that she left a beautiful career to become sort of a lesbian housewife, entertained by Michelle, Ryann is a wood carver. Rayann and her mother, Ann Germaine had a difficult relationship as since her father died, her mother tried to push forward her dreams through Rayann and wanted her to become a commercial graphician, yet after she met Michelle, Rayann and her mother have lost all hope as Rayann gave up her dreams. And now...

Thelma ( Eili Harboe ) moves to Oslo as a young Norwegian student and she starts falling in love with her beautiful colleague Anja ( Okay Kaya ) when she discovers her strange supernatural powers and the sensations that provokes them and their relation with nature. If it lies in her childhood, why did they come to surface only now or how will Thelma control them and how her love for Anja will get through everything? I am guessing we will find out on September 15 th, 2017 when the movie will be released on Norway. A fantastic horror-thriller with glimpses of a lesbian romance. A funny musical satire which has two deep themes : mud of politics and how a young and innocent woman can be dragged into it and lesbian love in the middle of the political mood with a very possible happy ending! Liberty Smith (Jaclene Wilk) is the young and innocent daughter of a preacher with a magnificent voice and she looks and sounds as the perfect energizer for the conservative presidential campaign. Even her name is double edged for she is Liberty in politics and the liberty goes on in everything that happens, especially when Liberty meets Washington insider, Nikki (Cara AnnMarie) and falls in love with her. Someone immortalizes their kiss and they appear all over TV. Now Liberty has to choose between her one true love and her career in politics, although she can have one in music, too. „Entangled” by Maria V. I wanted to read a story like this for a long time as it involves a love that lasts over the years and perhaps it will last forever and which entangles so many social and moral themes. Sydney and Rachel were in love 13 years ago as they were teenagers, yet Rachel left Sydney for her parents’ prejudices in the name of the Lord and the Catholic Church, as such a love was abominable. In this lesbian novel, Trin Denise surfaces very deep moral, social and religious issues that still linger in our society, perhaps not in the US, but surely in Europe, especially in the South Eastern countries.
